its a really interesting shot! nice job!

thanks. my photo teacher hated it. haha. but i thought it was pretty interesting myself

My favourite photos are the ones where you cant figure out what they are straight away. I had this with this photo, at first i thought it was a flipped photo of a water splash..then I thought it was barbed wire...then I thought it was like..a cable tidy. Your photo teacher is an idiot.

hahaha i love photos like that too! it makes u look at things a lot closer and a lot differently. but my photo teacher just didn't like the greyness i suppose. it is pretty grey. needs a bit more contrast. but i dont like fixing my photos on the computer. i dont know why but i feel like i'm cheating.

I think its weird how we take editing photos for granted now. But to be fair in the old dys they would do a lot of tricky darkroom editing, photoshop and things like that just speed up the process instead of slaving with loads of chemicals.
:iconbiggbuckz:
my favorite... i love the focus... and i wouldn't have messed with the contrast too much... but what do i know?
:iconinhiskeeping:
oooo pretty....i love the shallow depth of field and that "random plant" looks really cool...i dont think you need more contrast you've got your blacks and your whites so i say its good as is...i guess you and your photo teacher just have different tastes in art, and theres nothing wrong with that :)

your halo's slipping down to choke you now...
:iconglasstear:
thanks. i actually resubmitted this one too. i added just a bit more contrast. there was no real white before.
:iconsilenceofsound:
haha. DAMN YEAH TO THE RULES OF THIRDS.

I like this alot.

I don't remember how I got here, but I like your gallery, and I like the experimental aspects. I am a soon to be photography major, (I have to finish two years of art foundations first), and I'm really really interested in some of the things you're doing (emulsions and so forth. I can't wait to learn more technical things).

Anyway, good job.
